Bus company has listened to needs

I WAS pleased to note you mentioned the Compass Travel 106 in your bus article on April 1. For the benefit of your readers who live in North Lancing, may I expand on this item?

The revised timetable for the 106 from Worthing to Henfield is good news for North Lancing residents.

People living north of Manor Road now have access to a bus that takes them to and from Lancing village centre without having to climb back up the hill at the end of their journey.

Our nearest post office, since the closure of North Lancing post office, is in North Road, Lancing, so this bus is a huge benefit to North Lancing people.

In addition, the 106 is a direct bus to Worthing Hospital for people north of the A27 and the journey time is approximately 20 minutes to Worthing town centre.

Also, of course, it is good to have a direct route to Steyning and Henfield.

North Lancing residents would like to say a big thank you to Compass Travel for listening to their needs.
