Bus service has allowed the freedom to travel

I READ Wendy Taylor's letter (Herald, March 18) and was disappointed by her comments.

I am a wheelchair user, and after having living in Worthing for six years, I have only recently been able to get to town on the bus.

The 700 service is a good regular service and has given me the freedom to travel with my carer.

Now that the weather is improving, I would expect more wheelchair users to be using the bus. Disabled people should be able to travel without having to rely on expensive, wheelchair-accessible taxis. Stagecoach is giving that opportunity to the disabled people of Sussex.
