Famous words

These words, spoken in towns and villages across the country on Sunday are from the poem For the Fallen by Robert Laurence Binyon. It was first published in a national newspaper on 21st September at the start of WW1

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them.
