Lazy, hazy days of summer are great!

BEING off for the summer holidays means I get to spend so much time with my family and friends!

Every day is full of fun activities, like playing football and going to the park!

Yesterday, my dad and I went to the beach – it was so hot! We paddled our paws in the sea which was cold, but really fun! I splashed my dad, too, which made me laugh a lot. We went back home and my mum was baking cookies, so I helped her.

I really like baking with my mum because I get to learn how to make new things!

I was in charge of mixing and my mum put the trays in the oven.

They smelt and tasted so good when they were baked! Do you like baking, too, Chipsters?

I’ve also been for a lovely picnic, with my friend Sarah the sheep and my mum and dad. It was hot again so we packed lots of water so we didn’t get thirsty! My dad made lots of different sandwiches so we had loads to choose from.

We packed a frisbee to play with, which was so much fun.

My dad joined in, too, which was good – he throws the frisbee so far, but I catch it most times.

My mum said it would be fun if I kept a diary of all the nice things I’ve been doing this holiday then I can show my friends and teachers when I go back to school!

I’m really excited to start my diary, I love writing and I have loads to write about!

Why don’t you write about your holidays too?
