Bexhill’s annual Festival of Music kicks off today - a huge celebration of artistic talent in the town, with showpieces from musicians, choirs and bands with members both young and old.

There’s a great wealth of musical worth out there, with just about every genre covered - from rock to classical.

With all this on your doorstep, who needs Simon Cowell and the X Factor?
