The Cricket Club are away to Gills Green on Saturday August 2 with a 2pm start,

From Saturday August 23 - Sunday 24 Adam Kerry, from the village, is taking on a Great Tractor Push.

Adam and his friends will be pushing a tractor for 21 miles in memory of Tony Kerry and William Wickstead. The aim is to raise money for the Stroke Association.

The push starts at the Top of the Hill pub in Rye at 8.30am, then on to Peasmarsh, Beckley, Northiam and Staplecross, finishing for the day at the White Dog, Ewhurst Green, where they will stay for the night.

On Sunday they push on to Bodiam Castle then the Eight Bells, Queens Head and Oak and Ivy in Hawkhurst, endi ng at the Swan in Sandhurst.
