Volunteering is about giving whatever time you can – it doesn’t have to be hours at a time or even every week if you can’t commit to that.

Whatever spare time you have could make a massive difference in the local community, so why not see what volunteer roles there are that will fit in with the commitments you already have.

Committee trustee – Scope West Sussex

Scope West Sussex provides a resource unit for people from 18 to 50 years of age. As people have understood the possibility of independence, they have moved away from the traditional activities of day care and turned to leisure and the opportunities it presents for social interaction with other members at The Point and out in the general community.

They are looking for volunteers to join an existing board of trustees and work towards the maintenance and improvement of an established local charity.

Those with experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and general business acumen would be particularly welcome.
