It’s been great to get back to school and see my old friends again!
We’ve all been catching up with what we did during the summer holidays.
I had so many ace adventures that my friend Maddy the mouse suggested I make a scrap book of all my summer memories, so that I don’t forget any of the fun things I’ve done or any of the cool facts I’ve learned.
For example, did you know it is estimated that about 1,800 thunderstorms occur on our planet every day?
I learned that after the thunderstorms last month woke me up in the middle of the night and my dad bought me a book about all types of weather. I was surprised at how loud the thunder was, but I wasn’t a bit afraid!
Before school started, I went shopping with my parents to kit out my new bag with everything I need.
Before going shopping I wrote out a list of everything we needed to buy. I loved choosing a new pencil case and filling it with shiny new pens and pencils, plus my new ruler and sharpener which have pictures of dinosaurs on them!
This year, I am in the same class as two of my very best friends, Woody the weasel and Zoe the zebra. I’m keeping my paws crossed we will get to sit together!
I hope you all have a great first full week back at school, too! Chip chip for now!
