LETTER: Accident waiting to happen?

I live in a flat just off Jupps Lane, Goring, where around the corner is an industrial estate.

During the working week, cars are left in Jupps Lane on both sides, and make it very difficult to join Jupps Lane.

I have rung West Sussex County Council to see if they can help, and they said no, but if we are having trouble ring police – which we have done.

But they say they cannot come down each day and take a note of the numbers.

I have also asked the county council how much yellow lines would cost to help us, and was quoted £448 for two entrances.

We have 48 flats and most a car each, so you can see at times it is very difficult to access Jupps Lane.

I am sure before long there will be an accident.

And each day I am getting more disgruntled with this situation.
