LETTER: '˜Pool savaged by vandals'

Has the Herald sent a reporter along to East Worthing beach of late?

The new Aquarena has been savaged by vandals.

The glass panels and the large windows have been smashed. Two holes definitely look like air rifles. The chalets, which were painted up to look artistic, are now peeling, and still there is a stagnant table tennis table that no one can use as it’s on a windy beach – whose idea was that?

East Worthing beach is going downmarket. Too much loud, booming music thumping out of the exercise unit does not help with the environment of a beach setting.

Tranquility? Forget it.
