Animal charities are in need of support

During the current coronavirus pandemic obviously and quite rightly much attention is given to the human population, however in our local area there are sanctuaries caring for animals who find themselves homeless for varying reasons.

The monies recently made available to assist charitable organisations who are losing valuable funding at this time do not extend to animal charities.

As a volunteer at The ABC Animal Sanctuary in West Chiltington I can testify that work by volunteers is continuing throughout this crisis caring for the animals who call this sanctuary home, like other organisations our fundraising events are all cancelled or postponed for the foreseeable future leaving us with minimal resources.

If you would like to help please have a look at our website www.abcanimalsanctuary.co.uk to read more about the sanctuary and its animals and see the various ways that you can get involved or text GOABC to 70085 to give £3 per month via your mobile (text costs your donation plus two standard messages, please ask the bill payer’s permission if you are under 16).

Many thanks in advance for your support, it will be much appreciated.
