Care and attention from the NHS

AT 6.45am on Friday morning, my heart started fluttering an abnormal beat cycle and I felt weak.

My wife telephoned for an ambulance.

Graham and his partner arrived and treated me in their ambulance in a most professional, courteous and caring way.

They took me to the Conquest A&E unit where I was again treated in an excellent way.

Then I went to the Medical Assessment Unit where they all took great care of me.

When you are feeling weak and vulnerable it is great to know the people helping you really care.

I am now in the James ward undergoing treatment and being monitored by good electronics. The staff and doctors are all great. NHS = “brilliant”.
