Choir show was wonderful

What a wonderful concert was enjoyed by a very large audience of over 300 on the evening of Saturday, July 2 at St Augustine's church.

The Treble Clefs Choir was ably and enthusiastically conducted by Keith Richardson, well accompanied by Andrew Daniels, and the programme was a wonderful mixture of songs from shows and songs for audience participation.

There were also a few solo items by very talented local singers, names to watch in the future.

We also enjoyed a couple of spots by the Bexhill poet who read some very amusing poems. All this, including a programme and refreshments at half time for £5 – what a bargain.

The choir made a generous donation of £700 to St Michael’s Hospice, so the whole evening could certainly be declared a complete success.

We can all look forward to another concert next summer.
