Cracked record
LETTERS from Mr Betts, are always sure to provide readers with a good laugh as he turns up yet again, like the proverbial cracked record, urging us all to be positive. He seems to forget, residents of Bexhill are neither blind nor stupid.
Get real and look at the facts! Just before Rother District Council began its ‘regeneration’ of the Western Parade, Bexhill was hailed as the best place on the south coast for quality of life, and, in Relocation, Relocation, on at that time, it was described as idyllic and budget-busting! I am sure, at that time, residents of Bexhill would have had no problem being positive. Then Rother set to work! The rest is history, and not very pleasant history.
