Cut in Littlehampton's waste site hours

Having read the latest article in the Littlehampton Gazette, re proposals for the waste recycling sites, it is a pity that the hours are being reduced.

I feel for the staff as it means more hardships with less money coming in.

The charges proposed are for tyres and hardcore/soil etc per bag.

What happens if we don’t bring hardcore in bags and waste is loose in the boot of our car or in a trailer?

Are trailers going to be allowed on small sites? I hope not, as the drivers who have trailers are inconsiderate. The way the trailers are parked on site, half of them are home-made with no brake lights and either no reg plate or the reg plate is different to the one that’s on the car.

Hopefully these proposals do not encourage fly tipping of hardcore and tyres.
