Felling of Findon oak tree is a tragedy

How sad that a mature oak tree in Heene Road is to be felled to enable more housing.

Unfortunately with net migration of over a third of a million in the past year, we need to be building houses at an unprecedented rate, which will inevitably mean the destruction of many trees and hedgerows and possibly even the green belt.

It is probably too late to save the oak tree in Heene Road, but we can safeguard other magnificent oaks by voting to leave the EU when we eventually get the promised referendum.

We can then regain control of our borders.
