Get baking for cancer care

I am delighted to be supporting Breast Cancer Care's Strawberry Tea campaign once again and I would like to encourage all your readers to join me and lend their support this summer too.

Whether your Strawberry Tea is an intimate gathering for you and a few friends in the garden, a big family tea party or even a strawberry bake sale at your work, it’s a lovely way to show you care this summer.

Strawberries are so juicily fragrant and delicious, and there are just so many fabulous treats you can bake to raise funds.

Some of my own favourites include strawberry shortcakes and my beautiful Strawberry Meringue Layer Cake; a couple of ideas just to get you started!

Sadly, many of us know someone who has been affected by breast cancer; in fact one in eight women in the UK will develop the disease. But with your help the charity can continue to provide free vital support for women living with the disease.

If you enjoy baking too, please get involved this summer and show your support for such a vital cause by signing up for a free fundraising kit at www.breastcancercare.org.uk/strawberry.

With thanks and best wishes.
