Organised by Captains John Stevens and Jane White it began at 1200hrs on Friday 1st August and carried on through the night to finish at 1200hrs on Saturday 2nd August.

The aim of the challenge was to play as many holes with one ball in 24 hours as possible and the sponsors had the chance to estimate how many holes were achieved and how many strokes were played. Flashing golf balls and torches saw us through the hours of darkness to complete over 220 holes.
