Horsham nursery holds much loved annual sports day

Our Sports Day is a much loved annual event held on our adjacent playing fields. We are so fortunate to have such exclusive fabulous facilities to use as and when we require them.

On Thursday July 31 we dressed the area with traditional bunting, a running track, lots of chairs and of course it wouldn’t be the same without a good old cake and drink stall, not forgetting the wonderful raffle.

This year’s raffle had bumper prizes very kindly donated - a champagne breakfast at Restuarant Tristans Michelin Starred restaurant in Horsham, Fishers Farm four half price tickets, Wagamamas meal vouchers, New Street Butchers voucher, Sumners Pond in Barns Green and many many more.

We are so very grateful for all of our donations as all of the proceeds together with those made from the fabulous homemade cakes stall will go towards outdoor play equipment for the children.

The evening consisted of various races for each age group and a few special races for the children that will be leaving us in September for ‘Big’ school.

The Egg and Spoon race as well as parent and child dashes of course featured.

We were all in for a treat as the sun had remained firmly in the sky as we welcomed all of the parents, extended family and friends.
