'Idiot' drivers are issue not road

WITH regard to the letter from David Lewis (Gazette, June 3), he doesn't know what he is talking about.

The roundabout on the A259 is on a dual carriageway, with two lanes running all the way round it.

It is perfectly safe to use both these lanes when approaching from Rustington.

It is the idiots who are not "road aware" who do not signal to cross into the inside lane that are the danger.

They seem to think they have the right to cut people up who are driving perfectly sensibly.

I only use the outside lane if I am going to Sainsburys.

Also, his comment about underpassing is also wrong, in that cars go round parallel to each other.

The Highway Code does not come into any factor here, as on a dual carriageway cars can use either lane.
