He refers to Cllr Ray Dawe and his ‘yes-men’ cabinet and judges Cllr Vickers’ response to the new 800pa housing target imposed by the Inspector as ‘Passive and weak kneed from a senior local politician who is meant to fight for the interests of residents in our district’.

But it is our ineffective new MP Mr Jeremy Quin who needs to face the public and tell us why he is giving no lead in the biggest issue facing our district and all its residents - taking hundreds more of Crawley’s housing with no infrastructure provision.

Last week you again give him half a page about goodness knows what – anything but the major issue facing us all.
