LETTER: Stranger saved a life

Many thanks to everyone who was in the Anchor, in Sidlesham, on New Year’s Eve for their kindness and support when my husband had a cardiac arrest.

To Marie and Bernard, the mangers, for their promptness in calling 999 and for looking after me and my friends through this ordeal.

The greatest thanks is to the stranger, a gentleman in a peachy/orange shirt who did CPR so calmly and efficiently and then ‘melted away’ and could not be found to thank.

You saved a life. My husband is recovering well.

Many thanks.

The Dixon family
