‘Minimal effort’
HOW disgraceful of Angmering Parish Council not to recognise our Queen’s diamond jubilee.
What is their explanation for failing to enter into the spirit of an historical British event that we shall never witness again?
Simple bunting around the perfectly positioned trees in the village centre would have sufficed (where there is wire already in place for the Christmas lights).
I am sure this would have been the wishes of the majority of the village.
Maybe the parish council could enlighten us as to the reasons for their minimal effort?
