New rail service is no use to us
Given the current problems that rail commuters are facing going up to London, it seem small comfort to be reading about a new service linking Hastings and Battle With Charing Cross and by-passing other stations on the Hastings line.
The pressures on commuting on the Hastings to London line demand a much more Comprehensive solution.
Speaking on behalf of those who use Robertsbridge station and indeed other stations the line, we cannot but feel let down that the opportunity for a radical review of services has been spurned for a seeming electoral quick fix to boost the reelection credentials of the Hastings Conservative MP.
Other users of the line deserve better than this.
