No common sense at Eastbourne council over tourist information office

Has the council no common sense?

Who decided on closing the Tourist Information Centre and opening it almost out of town? A long walk for locals and visitors, and those with poor mobility.

The closed office is in a prime position, and supplied a really good service.

Information, the shop, photocopying were all close to buses, trains and shops.

It would be more suitable in the old railway station ticket office. Is this purely for a so-called financial saving? Was research carried out before making the decision?

It seems to be a purely autocratic council, not a democratic one.
