Old Littlehampton pub site still derelict

And so it goes on and on. I refer to the site of the old Locamotive pub still a derelict site having been vacant at least since 2006.

I have written at least five letters that have commented on this site including one in June 2008, where in reply to a headline ‘Flats are not selling’ gave a possible reason as lack of parking space, which is even more true today when you walk the streets in this area and delivery vehicles are struggling to get around.

This is only part of the reason. A greater part would seem to be that it is the owners who wish to increase their incomes by selling the site on with planning permission, as I see the site is, once again, submitting a planning application this time for nine apartments.

Originally, it started with 14 flats, which had slowly been reduced. Previously mentioned in 2015, planning applications would be revoked if not acted upon as they used to be.
