Parents '˜exempt' from road rules

Regarding the development at Upper Beeding Primary School (Steyning Herald, August 5) last week, and www.shoreham herald.co.uk), I am guessing there has been no consideration given to the parking that would be necessary to allow these parents to deliver their children to these classrooms.

It is already difficult manoeuvring around parents who are obviously exempt from all the rules of the road that the rest of us follow and observe – parking across driveways, on corners, on double yellow lines to mention a few.

If it is necessary to increase the pupil numbers, can the council not give some consideration to the residents?
