Pavement parking ban will adversely hit Worthing's Ham Road

Ministers are considering extending the total ban on pavement parking to make British pavements safer.

How will this affect Ham Road, where only traditional pavement parking facilitates two-way traffic?

Such a restriction would turn the road into a complicated one-way street, affecting so many commercial and other vehicles. Ham Road residents have been wonderfully tolerant of the diminished pavement space.

Perhaps they could now speak up.
