Plants are flowering out of season
On a short walk of an hour from West Worthing down Grand Avenue and return via Wallace Avenue, I spotted 23 different plants in flower on December 28.
There were some surprises – a white Chaenomeles and a pale blue Iris as well as some Narcissus.
Can any of your readers top this most odd selection for this time of year.

Hide AdThe mild weather has altered the flowering of so many plants I think it will be a very early spring.
Berried shrubs and a walk around the local garden centre do not count!
