Proposed skyscraper for Shoreham

We now hear that Southern Housing are proposing a fourteen storey tower block '“ up on the twelve or thirteen stories previously proposed - in their designs for development of the Free Wharf/ Minelco site in Shoreham.

Is this what the people of Shoreham want, as a precedent for developments in our town? The previous highest building permitted is seven stories, in the Parcelforce site development, currently being built. Please let Adur planning department and your councillor know your views on this - and write in to these pages too - at this cricital stage of the project’s design development.
