Put off The Ritz

I HAVE just been to the Ritz Cinema in Worthing and the comfort was not a patch on the Windmill Entertainment Centre at Littlehampton.

We also had to pay for the car park and had three flights of stairs to negotiate, which is not easy when you have problems walking, before we even got into the cinema. The adverts were on and it was so dark it was very hard to see where to put your feet.

I will admit the cinema was nearly full, but with good films, and tea, coffee and snacks – they even served hot dogs – all this must have attracted a lot of people. Why didn’t the Windmill promote itself like that? It would, I’m sure, have had a lot more people attending. Or they could run a cinema club at reduced prices.

I’m hoping that, soon, we will all be able to get back to the Windmill, where it is friendly, comfortable and in our own area, and a big plus when all the staff were like family and gave you a friendly welcome when you arrived.
