Real issues ignored
Because nobody, including the government, is answering fundamental issues, but merely providing technological fixes.
Climate change is not being tackled, with green energy used as a nothing more than a supplement to oil and gas.

“Development means growth” is entirely wrong. We need wealth from advance in technology, and not more goods.
“Net gains for nature” is barely possible if land is being taken from nature. It is trying to pack a quart of nature into a pint of space.
“High quality homes” – what standards are there for space in houses, to equate with the old Parker Morris benchmark?
