Rocky party plan
LAST night, our church youth group, including the youngsters and three officers, took some fish and chips to eat on the beach at Rustington.
As the weather was not too good, we sat in the shelter opposite the swimming pool.
At about 7pm, a lady advised us the club she belonged to had got permission from the council to use this area for a barbecue.

Hide AdShe was very polite and we left just before 8pm as people were arriving for the barbecue.
I wonder what the situation would have been like if we were, say, a group of bikers and did not intend to leave early in the evening!
I did not ask to see the written permission they said they had from the council.
