Seafront: ask the RHS?

CAN I put forward an idea, in view of all the comments about work on the West Parade, Bexhill? As a retired National Trust gardener I obviously have my own views, like everyone else.

The planting is excellent, but the hard landscaping and shelters are brutal, childish, “itsy-bitsy” and difficult to mow or strim with gravel next to grass, seats set in grass, etc.

However, as we have just had the Chelsea Flower Show, could I suggest that it might be interesting to see if the Royal Horticultural Society would give an opinion? It has hosts of expert people who judge horticultural and hard landscaping designs.

You would probably have to pay them, but it might prove to be the basis of an interesting article for the Observer. Just a thought.
