So much for Littlehampton's regeneration

What is to point of all this talk about regeneration in our town and then in a few years time, but in this intance talk about pulling down what was suggested ie the clock tower at the top of Surrey Street. Why not just pour the money down the drain?

St Martin’s car park is another target which keeps cropping up. Pull the church down and build another supermarket, church meetings can be on the first floor.

Another idea – move the library on to the site.

What is more important that should be sorted is who will occupy any shop when they are built as we do not need more snack bars/cafes but we do need shoe shops and men’s clothing and no doubt others.

No matter what happens we do need to retain the parking area as the side streets around the town are getting clogged up with commuters and shoppers. Where will Stagecoach park busses between journeys?
