The dynamic American Early Music ensemble, ‘Echoing Air’, perform music by England’s most illustrious 17th century composer, Henry Purcell, and his contemporaries, plus some modern masterpieces by such composers as Britten and Tippett.

Countertenors Nathan Medley and Steven Rickards are leading exponents of music from the English Baroque; they have performed all over the world, including at the BBC Prom Concerts. Nathan played Oberon in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Ottone in Monteverdi’s L’incoronazione di Poppea, and sang in master-classes with Dame Emma Kirkby. Steven has appeared with the BBC Philharmonic, the Deutsches Symphonie Orchester, San Francisco Symphony as well as many prestigious groups such as the Bach Ensemble, the New London Consort, and at Carnegie Hall. They are accompanied on the harpsichord by Thomas Gerber; who is harpsichordist of the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra and has recorded for the Dorian, Concordia, and Catalpa labels, who has made a number of well-received recordings.
