Talented man will be missed

Musical entertainer, John Mann, played his final show at the Worthing Pavilion last Wednesday, May 18, after performing there for 35 consecutive years '“ a record not likely ever to be equalled in Worthing Theatres.

John’s audiences have been able to enjoy his sheer musicianship and ability to entertain for all this time and turned out in force to mark the occasion.

Having entertained many thousands of people playing the Eminent Grand Theatre organ and grand piano, not to mention his trademark humour and sketches, it was a sad occasion for his many supporters as John concluded his record breaking run.

John continues to perform at other venues all around the country, and full details are on his website www.johnmann.eu which is updated regularly.

It seems a great shame to me, and was remarked on by many members of the audience on the day, that the current Worthing Theatres management did not appear at the show and made no acknowledgement of John’s remarkable achievement either to him personally or on stage.
