Thanks from Green candidate

As the Green Party candidate at the recent by-election for Darwell Ward of Rother District Council, I would like to thank all those who voted for me and all those who helped with my campaign.

The Green Party has come from nowhere to be snapping at the heels of the main party candidate, and beating Labour and the Lib Dems put together. The Greens’ policies seemed very popular on the doorstep: of the five parties that stood in this by-election, the Green Party is the only one to be entirely opposed to fracking, for example.
