We need a re-nationalised Southern rail service
The fact that the southern franchise was renewed is incredible considering the service that we have had on this network over the years.
The recent cancellations have caused huge disruptions, and the extortionate price that we have to pay for tickets despite the poor service is really insulting.

Having talked to many conductors, there is a genuine concern that trains will be less safe and a lot of untruths are being reported about supposed ‘sick days’.
In fact, the trains have always run with too few staff and relied on conductors working rest days.
I would like to give my backing for Southern Rail to be renationalised and I am sure many of my fellow commuters would agree.
