We’re in the dark
I’M a resident of Ferring and feel we have been kept in the dark about ASDA’S plans for the old garden centre site on the A259.
When it closed, it said it was for refurbishment, then we discovered it was going to change use to a supermarket and, even more incredible, they wanted to put their treated sewage into the River Rife. It is totally unacceptable in such a naturally beautiful area and they appear very arrogant to assume they can do what they like without considering the consequences on the local community. We certainly don’t need anything else to add to the already congested A259.
