Worthing transport in a '˜time warp'

Bob Smytheran tells us 'Worthing is clearly a desirable place to live for families as an alternative to Brighton'.

Try telling that to communters who suffer train delays from work then find their last bus from the station has left at 8.24pm.

Letters are continually in the Herald complaining about evening services.

I am invited to many group meetings in the day mainly because people can’t go out in the evening. How cam Councillor Smytheran say that’s an alternative to Brighton? Our transport passenger services are in a time warp. The good news of the week was the joint meeting of our south councils regarding a greater authority, chaired by Neil Parkin, Adur and Worthing council leader. This would put a belated bus passenger service in line with Adur and Worthing on a par with Brighton and Hove.
