Write church's next chapter

This morning I attended the Sackville Road Methodist Church anniversary service.

We were asked to consider is the ‘church’ the building or the people. If it is the building then Sackville Road church has stood for well over 100 years as a witness in the centre of Bexhill shops.

If it is the people we were given a shining example in the 65th wedding anniversary of church members Tom and Joan Jordan.

To celebrate they wanted a blessing and to thank God during the service, and then to provide lunch in the church hall.
