Not just parents who are angry

PARENTS at Broadwater CE School are not the only ones to have complaints about the new Broadwater pay and display car park (Herald, April 29).

Capital 2 Coast has, in its wisdom, decided to impose the same parking charges on motorcyclists as all other users.

Common sense seems to have gone out the window as I defy anyone to place a parking sticker on a motorcycle which will not be at risk from being blown away by the wind or stolen by another user.

Income streams from this source are likley to be negligible, so, for the occasional motorcyclist who wants to use this car park, parking should be free.
