Pets are fearful as fireworks spread beyond November 5

A big thank you to the inconsiderate resident in the Shandon Road area, for letting off fireworks on Wednesday night, (January 27).

My two dogs thoroughly enjoyed the constant noise by cowering and panting heavily in the darkest corner they could find.

Fireworks were traditionally displayed on November 5, or thereabouts, but nowadays it seems to be constantly with us through the selfish acts of those who permeate this society.

If people could see the fear expressed in an animal's eyes, I would hope they would think twice.

I am a firm believer in what goes around, comes around and I hope that the perpetrators will succumb to a suitable ordeal.
