Robes option?
REGARDING the renewal of the mayoral robes (Herald, November 25), quite a few years ago, when Worthing had a new town crier, he was kitted out with a brand-new set of blue robes.
They were not used for many years when he left his post.
I expect that they are sitting in a cupboard somewhere.
Could they not be used for the mayors of Worthing?
Surely it doesn’t matter that they are a different colour to what has been before?
At least they will become useful again!
