So many young people in Worthing are inspiration

On my return to the UK, I decided to move to Sussex, as my middle daughter moved here.

She fell in love with Sussex and stayed.

I, too, have fallen in love with Sussex, and more so with Worthing itself.

Last year my love was confirmed when the Lauren Jones story came to light.

Here was a young girl whose life was changed dramatically through a tragic accident. But this young girl was not giving up, but continuing on and giving inspiration, strength and hope to us all.

Then to add to that, Worthing and surrounds showed their amazing capacity of love and compassion.

Well, last night I went to the Coach and Horses, along the A27, and another story touched my heart.

Sam and Darryl are a young couple who took the Coach and Horses on early last year.

Sadly a few weeks ago, the accommodation of the public house/restaurant (upstairs) caught alight.

Now, I am not asking Worthing and surrounding areas to dig deep into their pockets again.

What I am asking is support this couple, this pub/restaurant, by going there.

This couple lost everything - clothes, furniture and nearly their pets' lives.

Yet they are still working so hard to rebuild their dream.

I am so happy to have returned to the UK and found somewhere in England to be so proud to live.

We have fantastic young people who are an inspiration and example to us all.
