ST BARNABAS: Helping hands needed to help at retail centre

Helping hands are urgently needed at the St Barnabas House Retail Distribution Centre in Broadwater.

We need volunteers to help sort stock, upscale furniture and other tasks here and there.

We do not require a regular commitment, so maybe you’d like to help as a one-off on your next day off work?

Or why not get a group of friends or workmates together and make it a team effort?

Whatever amount of time you can give would be greatly appreciated and will help to make a huge difference.

Please phone Karen on 01903 275660 if you want to find out more.

Speaking of our shops, last week our Broadwater shop celebrated its fifth birthday.

We also handed out some five year service badges to staff and volunteers who have been at the shop since it opened.

And, in the usual fashion, we marked the shop’s birthday with tea and cake.

Our Broadwater shop is a brilliant shop selling so many varied and wonderful things – we get so many comments from people who have bought some lovely items there.

Don’t forget, if you’re having a sort out, please donate anything unwanted to us – we rely on the income from our shops to help fund our hospice care services around Worthing.

If you have any large items we can often arrange collection, so please give us a call on 01903 275660.
