Thanks for supporting Fairtrade

Through your letters page, I would like to thank everyone who supported Fairtrade Fortnight from February 23 to March 8, this year.

Thank you to the many people who came to our film festival at the Connaught and those who visited our stall at the farmers market.

A special thanks to the Co-op who sponsored the film festival and to Worthing Borough Council and the Environment Agency who have supported us.

Also to the many local organisations, businesses and individuals who choose Fairtrade products throughout the year.

Even during these difficult financial times, the sales of Fairtrade have grown by 43 per cent during the past year.
