Tourist potential for garden wall 'folly'

HAVING seen the new wall and gates recently installed at a fine Edwardian residence in Belsize Road, pictured above, I would urge Worthing planners to reverse the planning refusal, for the good of the town

Given the right marketing, this newly- built "folly" could become as popular as anything the Victorians built, bringing a much-needed boost to Worthing's tourist attractions.

The owner should be applauded for building this amusing structure and I, for one, can hardly wait to see the rest of the house finished, complete with a moat and drawbridge, together with mock jousting on the front lawn.
