All the members were sporting festive outfits for the occasion, and some took part in a comedy dance routine to entertain the others.

Sarah Sampson, of Sampson Fitness, presented certificates for the greatest achievers in the class – people who have helped others the most during 2012. They went to Pat Taylor and Sheila Cripps, and to Alan Woods, the longest-serving first aider with the group.

After refreshments, the fun continued with a quiz organised by Richard Stanfield.
